Craft toolbox coastal makeover

I found the perfect box for my craft tools at a garage sale for $2.  The only problem was it looked really old and not so coastal.  Sooooo, out came my trusty spray paint and a little sand paper and now it looks much better.

Before:
I spray painted it with Krylon satin white paint (sorry I didn't get a picture of the process)
I glued seashells to pieces of raffia for the bow.  The box works great to hold my craft tools and supplies that I carry from place to place to work on projects.

Crock Pot Baked Potatoes | Skip To My Lou

This is a great idea for summer!  Put them in the crock pot and let them cook all day.  I'm going to put my crock pot on the back deck or in the garage to keep the house cool:)

Concrete wall makeover

A quick trick for making over plain concrete blocks or pavers is SPRAY PAINT!  Who knew!  I was going to get concrete stain, which is pretty expensive and takes quite a bit of time, but I needed to get it done in a hurry.  Sooooo, I tried using spray paint.  It worked GREAT and looks good even close up.
BEFORE:
SPRAY PAINT WITH
A LIGHT COAT:
 AFTER:
Be sure you use light coats.  It creates a "stained" look rather than a painted finish.
